Making it personal
As part of ODEON’s social media marketing campaign for Spider-Man Homecoming, I was tasked with creating a truly engaging way of amplifying reach for ODEON, providing more opportunities for people to link the chain with the upcoming movie release.
I worked with a specialist video campaign platform to create a bespoke personalised Twitter activation – becoming the first ever UK cinema to do this.
Users who engaged with the campaign were rewarded with personalised video responses alongside a call-to-action link to buy tickets at ODEON.
The campaign resulted in a 750% increase in tweet engagement and 56% of the personalised videos were retweeted, dramatically increasing ODEON’s reach during the campaign. It also provided ODEON with an engaged group of individuals to re-target for paid activity.
